At least 17 civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes accros Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation forces continued their relentless assault on the Gaza Strip overnight, launching a series of deadly airstrikes and drone attacks that killed and injured scores of Palestinian civilians in multiple areas from midnight until Thursday morning.
Among the latest victims are women, children, and families who were sheltering in refugee camps and temporary tents—many of whom had already been displaced by earlier bombardments.
Deadly Night of Airstrikes in Central and Northern Gaza
In one of the most tragic incidents, four Palestinians—including two young girls—were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment in Al-Salhi Tower, located west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Another deadly strike targeted the Al-Hadeedi family’s apartment in the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, claiming the lives of four more civilians and leaving several others wounded.
Meanwhile, in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City, Israeli missiles struck the Zaqout family home, killing three citizens and injuring others. The residential building lies adjacent to the Al-Nour Al-Mohammadi Mosque, which has also sustained damage in earlier raids.
Khan Yunis: Families Exterminated in Their Homes and Shelters
In Khan Yunis, located in southern Gaza, an entire family was wiped out in a strike on their home in the western refugee camp. The father, mother, and children were all confirmed dead.
Elsewhere in the city, a young girl was killed and several others were injured when an airstrike hit a tent shelter near the Dream Hall, where displaced families had sought refuge.
Adding to the growing list of atrocities, two women were killed in a drone strike that hit a tent housing displaced civilians west of Khan Yunis.
Humanitarian Catastrophe in Deir al-Balah
In Deir al-Balah, east of the city, five civilians were killed and others injured as they waited in line to receive humanitarian aid. Israeli forces reportedly opened fire after midnight, targeting a gathering point for food distribution.
The massacre of civilians seeking aid comes amid mounting warnings from international organizations about the worsening famine across Gaza.
Staggering Toll of Death and Hunger in Gaza
According to the latest figures from Palestinian health authorities, the total death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now reached 61,158 Palestinians, with a staggering 151,442 wounded.
The targeting of aid seekers and displaced persons, combined with the blockade of food, medicine, and fuel, has led to an accelerating humanitarian disaster across the besieged territory.
Calls for Immediate Ceasefire and Humanitarian Access
Global humanitarian groups continue to demand an immediate ceasefire and unfettered access to provide life-saving aid to Gaza's population. However, with no political breakthrough in sight and with civilian infrastructure largely destroyed, the situation grows more dire by the hour.
As yet another night of bombardment ends, families in Gaza awaken to more ruins, more grief, and fewer safe places to hide—underscoring the urgent need for the international community to act before more lives are lost. (ILKHA)
