Türkiye to host ministerial meeting on Gaza in İstanbul
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a high-level ministerial meeting on Gaza will be held in İstanbul on November 3, 2025, under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
In a statement released on Sunday, the ministry said: “Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, will host a ministerial-level meeting in İstanbul on 3 November 2025 to discuss the recent developments in Gaza.”
The meeting is expected to bring together foreign ministers and senior diplomats from several regional and international partners to address the ongoing humanitarian situation in Gaza and explore coordinated efforts to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Diplomatic sources indicate that the discussions will focus on achieving a lasting ceasefire, supporting Gaza’s reconstruction, and preventing further escalation in the region. The initiative is part of Türkiye’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to rally international action and accountability against Israel’s aggression and to promote a sustainable peace process in Palestine.
Türkiye has consistently called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the lifting of the blockade, and greater international responsibility to ensure justice for the Palestinian people.
The İstanbul meeting is seen as another step in Ankara’s intensified diplomatic campaign to strengthen regional and global consensus for peace and humanitarian relief in Gaza. (ILKHA)
