Turkish President Erdoğan discusses bilateral ties with Uzbekistan’s Mirziyoyev in phone call

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan on Thursday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional and global developments.
According to a statement from the Turkish Presidency, President Erdoğan emphasized Türkiye’s commitment to further strengthening ties with Uzbekistan, particularly through the framework of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
The call also included a personal gesture from the Turkish leader, who extended birthday greetings to President Mirziyoyev.
The two presidents reaffirmed their determination to continue close cooperation across various sectors and enhance the strategic partnership between their countries. (ILKHA)
