President Erdoğan receives new Lebanese ambassador Mounir Anouti in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Tuesday received Ambassador Mounir Anouti of Lebanon at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.
During the meeting, Ambassador Anouti presented his letter of credence to President Erdoğan, officially beginning his diplomatic mission in Türkiye.
The ceremony reaffirmed the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Türkiye and Lebanon, as both countries continue to strengthen their political, economic, and cultural ties.
Following the presentation, President Erdoğan conveyed his best wishes for Ambassador Anouti’s tenure and expressed hope for further development in bilateral relations, particularly in areas such as trade, regional stability, and humanitarian cooperation.
Ambassador Anouti also conveyed the greetings of Lebanese President and government officials to President Erdoğan, expressing Lebanon’s desire to deepen collaboration with Türkiye in mutual interests across the region. (ILKHA)
