Martyrs of October 2014 events remembered on Eid al-Adha in Diyarbakır

Relatives and companions of Yasin Börü, Hasan Gökgöz, Hüseyin Dakak, Turan Yavaş, Riyad Güneş, and Aytaç Baran gathered at their gravesides during the early hours of Eid al-Adha to commemorate their lives and sacrifices.
Yasin Börü, Hasan Gökgöz, Hüseyin Dakak, Turan Yavaş, and Riyad Güneş were brutally massacred while distributing sacrificial meat to needy families during the Kobane-excused events of October 6-8, 2014. Aytaç Baran was martyred in front of his home in an assassination attempt. They are remembered with deep respect and mercy for their service and ultimate sacrifice.
After the Eid prayers, relatives and friends of the martyrs convened at Yeniköy Asri Cemetery in the central Bağlar district. They recited verses from the Holy Quran and offered prayers at the gravesites, paying tribute to their loved ones.
The commemoration was attended by HÜDA PAR Provincial Chairman Zeynulabidin Gülsever and members of the General Administrative Board. They joined the families in honoring the memory of the martyrs and participating in the grave visit.
