HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu attended a condolence reception held for Nasr Khalil Abu Jaysh (Abu Yasar), the martyred brother of Palestine’s Ambassador to Ankara, Dr. Nasri Abu Jaysh.

The condolence reception, held at the Palestinian Embassy in Ankara on Saturday, brought together ambassadors, diplomats, political representatives, and supporters of the Palestinian cause to express solidarity with Ambassador Abu Jaysh and honor the memory of his brother, who was martyred amid Israel's ongoing occupation of Palestinian land.

Yapıcıoğlu, accompanied by a HÜDA PAR delegation, offered his condolences to the ambassador and the Palestinian people, praying for God's mercy upon the martyr and patience for his family.

Addressing those gathered at the embassy, Yapıcıoğlu stressed that the sacrifices made by Palestinians are shared by Muslims across the world.

"We are here at the Palestinian Embassy to offer our condolences to all our Palestinian brothers and sisters through His Excellency the Ambassador following the martyrdom of yet another Palestinian brother," he said.

"In reality, every Palestinian martyr is a martyr of the entire Ummah. The Palestinian cause is the cause of the whole Ummah."

He emphasized that as long as the Israeli occupation continues, the Palestinian people's legitimate resistance and the support of Muslims worldwide will remain steadfast.

"Until the occupier withdraws from the lands it has occupied, the resistance will never end despite the sacrifices and the martyrs. Palestinians will never abandon their homeland or surrender their blessed land," Yapıcıoğlu said.

Yapıcıoğlu described Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories as the primary source of instability in the region and a threat extending beyond Palestine.

"It is now evident to everyone that the Zionist occupation is both the greatest obstacle to peace in our region and the greatest threat directed at global peace," he said.

He urged governments, international institutions, and people of conscience to fulfill their moral responsibility by standing with the Palestinian people against Israeli oppression and injustice.

"On behalf of myself, my party and my nation, we will continue striving to fulfill the responsibility that falls upon us. May Allah have mercy on all our martyrs and, through their blessed sacrifice, grant freedom and liberation to Palestine," he added.

Nasr Khalil Abu Jaysh was martyred after reportedly suffering the effects of toxic gases used by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations linked to Palestinian resistance against illegal Israeli settlement expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Participants concluded the program by extending their condolences to Ambassador Dr. Nasri Abu Jaysh and expressing continued solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom, dignity, and self-determination.

The reception took place as Israel's military operations and settlement expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories continue to draw widespread condemnation from humanitarian organizations and many governments, with renewed international calls for an immediate end to the occupation, accountability for alleged violations of international law, and recognition of the Palestinian people's legitimate rights under international law.
