Hope Caravan brings Eid joy to hundreds of children in Diyarbakır
The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) brought smiles to hundreds of children in Diyarbakır ahead of Eid al-Fitr by providing them with new clothing and shoes.
The foundation, known for its ongoing support to impoverished families, orphans, and communities both domestically and internationally, upheld its annual tradition of spreading joy during the festive season.
Families in need visited a private store in Diyarbakır, where children had the chance to select their own shoes and clothes. The initiative allowed them to welcome Eid al-Fitr in fresh attire, an experience that left many beaming with happiness. The effort targeted the children of approximately 200 struggling households, offering them a moment of delight in the final days of Ramadan.
Abdurrahim Karadeniz, Vice President of the Hope Caravan Foundation, spoke about the organization’s commitment to such programs. “Since our establishment, we have organized clothing drives for every Eid,” he said. “Throughout Ramadan, we’ve ramped up our efforts, distributing food, cash, and red meat to families in need. This week, our focus is on dressing these children, and with the support of our generous donors, we hope to reach even more.”
Karadeniz also issued a call to philanthropists: “Let’s make our children happy in these last days of Ramadan. The more our benefactors contribute, the more smiles we can bring.” He emphasized that the foundation’s aid extends beyond the holy month, with year-round assistance including rent support, stationery, food, and winter clothing.
The Hope Caravan Foundation’s latest efforts underscore its mission to uplift vulnerable communities, ensuring that the joy of Eid reaches even the smallest hearts. (ILKHA)
