Adana to hold pro-Palestinian march in solidarity with Gaza

In a powerful show of solidarity with the Palestinian people, civil society organizations in Adana will lead a public march and rally on Saturday, May 31, calling for an end to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the continued occupation of Jerusalem.
Organized under the slogan “Every Step for Gaza and Jerusalem,” the event will begin at 16:30, with participants marching from İnönü Park to 5 Ocak Square. The demonstration will feature a press statement and various awareness activities aimed at amplifying the voices of Palestinians suffering under occupation and siege.
The organizers, including local NGOs, women’s groups, and youth, are urging the public to take a stand against Israel’s ongoing war crimes and the international community’s silence. Their rallying cry, “Don’t be silent to oppression, don’t let another child die!”, highlights the devastating toll the Israeli military campaign continues to take on innocent civilians—particularly children—in Gaza.
Participants will call for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the blockade, and justice for victims of Israeli airstrikes and forced displacement. The event also seeks to raise awareness about the systematic violations of Palestinian rights in Jerusalem and across occupied territories.
Organizers have invited all people of conscience to join the demonstration, stressing that standing with Palestine is a stand for humanity, justice, and freedom. (ILKHA)
