Yemeni forces strike Ben Gurion Airport in solidarity with Gaza

Yemeni Armed Forces announced a successful ballistic missile operation targeting the Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) on Tuesday.
The strike, carried out using a Palestine-2 hypersonic missile, sent shockwaves across the Israeli occupation, prompting mass panic, a full airport shutdown, and airspace closures over more than 139 locations, including the Greater Tel Aviv area.
The precision attack, described by the Yemeni military as a "qualitative military operation," came as a direct response to what it called the "genocidal war" waged by the Israeli regime against the people of Gaza. The Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that the strike was a clear message of solidarity with the steadfast Palestinian resistance in the face of months of relentless bombardment and siege.
“The Armed Forces of Yemen will not stand by while the Zionist entity continues to massacre civilians in Gaza,” the military statement read. “This operation was in retaliation for the atrocities committed against our brothers and sisters in Palestine and reaffirms our unbreakable bond with the resistance.”
The missile strike caused immediate chaos throughout the occupied territories. Israeli media confirmed that sirens sounded across vast areas, including central Tel Aviv and its surroundings. Channel 12 reported that panic gripped millions of settlers who fled to shelters amid fears of further strikes, while the Ben Gurion Airport was forced to suspend all activity, cancel landings, and shut down Israeli airspace temporarily. The disruption also blocked the arrival of a U.S. military cargo aircraft for the second day in a row.
Although the Israeli occupation army claimed that its air defense systems intercepted the projectile, debris from the explosion triggered additional alerts in the north, highlighting the extent of the disruption and confusion the operation caused within the occupation’s security apparatus.
This marked the second missile launched from Yemen into the occupied Palestinian territories in less than 24 hours, signaling a clear escalation and growing regional resistance to Israeli aggression.
The Yemeni Armed Forces warned that more operations of this scale would follow if the Zionist regime continued its crimes in Gaza, reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause.
Observers note that the operation represents a significant development in the regional response to Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza, demonstrating that the circle of resistance now stretches beyond Palestine and into the broader Arab and Islamic world.
As the siege on Gaza intensifies, Yemen’s bold response sends a resounding message: the blood of the oppressed in Palestine will not go unanswered. (ILKHA)
