Israeli forces kill 350 Palestinians in Gaza since ceasefire
The Gaza Human Rights Center has reported alarming violations of the Gaza ceasefire, stating that Israeli forces have killed 350 Palestinians in the 47 days following the truce’s implementation on October 10, 2025.
Among the dead are 130 children, 54 women, and 14 teenagers, with many targeted in areas previously designated as safe zones.
The Center warned that these attacks constitute systematic breaches of the ceasefire. Civilians continue to face air and artillery bombardments, raids, restricted access to humanitarian aid, and limitations on movement. Over the same period, 889 people were injured, of whom 539 were children, women, or elderly, representing more than 60% of all casualties.
Field teams monitoring the situation documented over 535 violations in just 47 days, averaging more than 11 incidents per day. These incidents include armed assaults, artillery strikes, vehicle raids, detentions, and home demolitions. Israeli forces reportedly have not adhered to agreed withdrawal maps, maintaining control over civilian areas and targeting hundreds of buildings that survived previous military campaigns.
Humanitarian conditions have deteriorated sharply. The Center highlighted that while Israeli authorities claim to allow 600 trucks of essential goods daily, only 211 trucks have passed. Fuel remains blocked, and crucial medical, water, and sanitation supplies are largely inaccessible. Thousands of trucks continue to await authorization at border crossings, worsening malnutrition and other humanitarian challenges.
At the Rafah Border Crossing, movement remains heavily restricted, with hundreds of prisoners and missing persons detained by Israeli authorities. Released survivors report repeated instances of enforced disappearances, mistreatment, torture, and sexual violence.
The Gaza Human Rights Center emphasized that these incidents are part of a continued genocidal campaign endured by residents over the past two years. The organization called on the international community to act decisively, warning that silence and inaction effectively provide political cover for ongoing attacks.
The report paints a stark picture of a humanitarian crisis that continues unabated despite international calls for compliance with the ceasefire. (ILKHA)
