Israeli airstrikes target central Syria, injuring seven civilians

Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple areas in central Syria on Friday evening, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
According to a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Defense, the country's air defenses intercepted and shot down some of the incoming rockets.
"The aggression resulted in seven civilians being injured and caused material damage," the ministry's statement said.
This incident is part of a series of ongoing Israeli attacks on various targets in Syria, which have continued for several years.
However, reported Israeli strikes have sharply intensified since the outbreak of the Gaza conflict last October. (ILKHA)
