Israeli airstrikes kill over 50 in Jabalia as Gaza endures new wave of attacks

At least 50 Palestinians were martyred and dozens more injured or reported missing early this morning as Israeli occupation forces launched a brutal wave of airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp and surrounding neighborhoods in northern Gaza.
The relentless bombardment targeted densely populated civilian areas, including homes and streets, despite prior evacuation orders that left residents with nowhere safe to go. Gaza’s civil defense teams reported pulling dozens of bodies and injured civilians from the rubble across Jabalia town and the refugee camp.
Shocking images from the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza showed scores of wounded and deceased Palestinians, including children and women, lying on the floors of overcrowded emergency rooms. Medical teams, overwhelmed and under-resourced due to the ongoing blockade, are struggling to respond to the humanitarian catastrophe.
According to early reports, the attacks resulted in at least 45 confirmed deaths and over 100 injuries, with many of the victims being entire families who had heeded Israeli evacuation orders issued just hours earlier for Jabalia, Tel al-Zaatar, Sheikh Zayed, and several nearby neighborhoods.
The massacre in Jabalia highlights the continued targeting of Palestinian civilians and the escalating toll of Israel’s military campaign on Gaza’s besieged population. Human rights organizations and international observers have repeatedly condemned the Israeli military’s actions, warning of potential war crimes amid the growing humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
