Hezbollah warns of consequences over U.S. threats against Khamenei

Lebanon’s Hezbollah Movement issued a firm condemnation on Thursday in response to recent threats directed at Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
The group described the remarks as "reckless" and warned that such provocations could trigger serious repercussions.
In a forceful statement, Hezbollah stressed that those behind the threats either fail to understand or deliberately ignore the profound spiritual and political stature of Sayyed Khamenei, not only within Iran but across the entire Islamic world.
“The mere utterance of such threats is an offense against hundreds of millions of believers and defenders of dignity, resistance, and Islamic authenticity,” the statement declared.
The condemnation comes amid heightened regional tensions fueled by Israel’s ongoing military campaigns in Gaza, increased hostility from the United States towards Iran, and explicit threats against Sayyed Khamenei’s life made by both Washington and Tel Aviv. Hezbollah underscored that Sayyed Khamenei remains a central figure, revered not only by Iranians but also by freedom fighters and Resistance movements around the globe.
Hezbollah reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to Sayyed Khamenei and the Iranian people, pledging steadfast support to Tehran in the face of what it described as “Israeli-American aggression.” The statement highlighted the unity binding Resistance groups across the region, rooted in shared principles of dignity, faith, and resistance.
“We stand firmly alongside Iran’s leadership and people as part of a common struggle,” the group said.
Hezbollah issued a clear warning to Washington, cautioning that continued support for Israeli military operations in Gaza, alongside attempts to threaten or destabilize Iran, would bring severe consequences.
“The United States will eventually realize it has plunged into a deep abyss,” the statement warned, emphasizing that the current path of escalation will not end without heavy costs.
The movement expressed confidence in the widespread popular and ideological support surrounding Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
“The millions of free people rallying around the leadership of Imam Khamenei cannot be defeated,” the statement affirmed.
“The tide of falsehood is doomed to fail, while the path of faith and resistance will ultimately triumph.”
This statement followed recent incendiary posts by former U.S. President Donald Trump on his Truth Social account, where he openly threatened Sayyed Khamenei. Trump wrote, “We know exactly where the so-called Supreme Leader is hiding. He’s an easy target, but he’s safe there. We are not planning to strike him, at least not right now.” He added, “We do not want to fire missiles at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is running thin,” and ended with the forceful demand: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
In response to such provocations, Sayyed Khamenei issued a resolute warning on Wednesday against any U.S. military intervention in support of Israeli aggression on Iran, stating that such actions would provoke consequences “they could never mend.”
“The Americans should know that any military intervention will have irreparable consequences for them,” Khamenei said.
“The US knows that intervention in Israeli aggression on Iran will leave them damaged far more than they could do to Iran.”
He further characterized U.S. involvement as evidence of Israel’s strategic weakness.
“The United States’ involvement in the aggression alongside the Israeli entity is an indication of the entity's weakness,” he said.
Khamenei underscored Iran’s policy of reciprocal defense, affirming: “The Americans must know that the Iranian people will not surrender or submit to dictates and threats. War will be met with war, bombardment with bombardment, strikes with strikes.”
As tensions escalate, Hezbollah’s statement signals growing regional solidarity behind Iran’s leadership and a warning to Washington and Tel Aviv against underestimating the resilience of the Resistance and the Iranian people. (ILKHA)
