Iranian drone dtrikes hit occupied Beit She’an, causing major damage

An Iranian drone directly struck a building in the occupied city of Baysan (Beit She’an) early Saturday, causing significant structural damage, according to Israeli media sources.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv confirmed that the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), reportedly a Shahed-136 drone, hit its target after Israeli defense systems failed to intercept it. Emergency service teams were deployed to the site and are currently sifting through the rubble in search of possible casualties, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported.
Israeli radio further corroborated the substantial damage to the building, marking one of the most direct hits on Israeli territory in the latest escalation.
In a separate development, Israeli media also reported that another Iranian drone exploded in Araba, located along Route 90 in southern Israel. According to reports, the incident is part of what Israeli sources describe as “a major drone attack on Israel using explosive UAVs.”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the operations, announcing the launch of the 18th wave of “Operation True Promise 3” overnight Friday. The attack, according to the IRGC, was carried out in retaliation for Israel’s recent military aggression against Iranian targets.
In a statement, the IRGC claimed that the latest wave successfully struck multiple Israeli military sites and logistical centers using a large salvo of Shahed-136 drones and precision-guided missiles. “All predetermined targets were successfully destroyed,” the IRGC said.
Sirens reportedly sounded across northern, eastern, and southern parts of Israel as the attacks unfolded, underscoring the scale and reach of the Iranian offensive.
The ongoing exchange marks a significant escalation in hostilities between Iran and Israel, amid broader regional tensions. (ILKHA)
