HÜDA PAR: “No more words — Act now to stop Gaza genocide”

HÜDA PAR Foreign Relations Head Hüseyin İmir has issued an urgent call for action to end Israel’s genocide in Gaza, declaring that “the time for statements alone is over.”
In a powerful statement on Tuesday, İmir urged Islamic countries, regional powers, and the global community to impose economic, diplomatic, and military pressure to force Israel’s unconditional withdrawal from Gaza.
From Ankara to Gaza: A Call for a Humanitarian Corridor
İmir began by recalling the mass march held last Sunday from Ankara’s Kocatepe Mosque to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, organized by the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFİDAP) and the Anatolia Civil Society Platform (ASTP).
The march, themed “From Anatolia to the Parliament, from the Parliament to Gaza — Open the Humanitarian Corridor”, brought together opinion leaders, civil society organizations, and citizens from across Türkiye.
“We hope this meaningful march will encourage all political parties in Parliament to form a humanitarian alliance for Gaza and take concrete steps to open a humanitarian corridor,” İmir said, stressing that symbolic gestures are not enough.
Gaza’s People Have No Safe Place Except the Sea
İmir warned that Israel’s occupation regime is advancing its plan to take complete control of Gaza, leaving the population with no refuge other than the sea.
“Hunger, the illegal blockade, and the systematic obstruction of aid are killing more civilians each day,” he said. “The targeting of civilians trying to secure food proves beyond doubt that what is happening is genocide.”
Passive Diplomacy Must End
Condemning the silence of neighbouring countries such as Egypt and Jordan, İmir said: “Islamic countries face a choice: either share responsibility for genocide by hiding behind empty statements aimed at disarming the resistance — or stand firmly with the people of Gaza against Zionist occupation.”
He stressed that immediate, coordinated action is essential, warning: “Those who remain inactive will be remembered as complicit in genocide.”
Warning on Lebanon: Disarmament Is an Invitation to Occupation
Turning to Lebanon, İmir criticized a US-backed plan to disarm Lebanese armed forces, calling it a strategy to secure Israel’s interests and leave Lebanon defenseless.
He noted that Israel continues to occupy Lebanese land despite repeated ceasefire violations, and linked the plan to US President Trump’s push for more countries to join the Abraham Accords.
“Lebanon must not sit at the same table with the occupier,” İmir said, calling the proposal “economic and political blackmail.”
Egypt’s Gas Deal with Israel a “Black Mark in History”
İmir also condemned Egypt’s recent natural gas export agreement with Israel while Gaza remains under siege.
“Not a drop of water reaches Gaza, the Rafah crossing is closed, and yet Egypt is filling the occupier’s coffers. This is a moral collapse and direct collaboration in genocide,” he said.
He stressed that no Muslim country should maintain relations with the Zionist entity while the people of Gaza face hunger and bombardment.
“Every Day Without Action Is Another Day of Betrayal”
İmir concluded by warning that the conscience of the Islamic ummah will not forget acts of complicity in the face of genocide.
“At this time of oppression and massacre, no Muslim country should have any dealings with the Zionist entity. Every day without action is another day of betrayal against Gaza.”
“The Islamic world’s inaction fuels this genocide,” İmir warned. “Humanity must unite to stop Israel’s occupation.” He called for immediate action to open a humanitarian corridor and hold Israel accountable for its crimes in Gaza. (ILKHA)
