Afghanistan, Pakistan foreign ministers discuss cooperation in Istanbul

Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held high-level talks in Istanbul on Sunday, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and regional cooperation.
The ministers discussed enhancing trade, transit, and infrastructure development to boost economic connectivity between the two nations. They reaffirmed their commitment to stability and prosperity through strategic partnerships and collaborative frameworks.
Key regional projects aimed at improving trade routes and connectivity were also on the agenda. The meeting highlighted preparations for the upcoming Afghanistan-Pakistan-China trilateral dialogue in Kabul, which will address regional security, economic integration, and multilateral development.
