Türkiye’s services production index recorded a 3.6% increase in August 2025 compared to the same month last year, reflecting robust growth across key sectors, according to official data released Wednesday.
The strongest performers included professional, scientific, and technical services, which surged by 9.0%, and real estate services, which grew by 7.2%. Information and communication services also saw significant growth at 6.4%, while accommodation and food services rose by 4.7%. Administrative and support services increased by 2.8%, and transportation and storage services posted a modest gain of 0.7%.
On a monthly basis, the services production index edged up by 0.4% in August 2025 compared to July. Professional, scientific, and technical services led the monthly gains with a 2.4% increase, followed by accommodation and food services at 1.7% and administrative and support services at 1.2%. Transportation and storage services saw a slight uptick of 0.2%. However, not all sectors advanced, with information and communication services declining by 3.2% and real estate services dipping by 0.2%.
